There is a lot to learn from other people and that is why traveling is very expansive. It’s interesting to get to know different cultures and see how things are done differently.
On the other hand, there is also a lot in our own culture that we want to cherish so that we can leave a rich legacy to our descendants as well. Perpetual urgency and various obligations should not be an obstacle to the most essential things. By our own example, we can help by giving our attention to the right things.
As a wilderness guide, I appreciate pure nature and feel that in the heart of nature I can do better and be able to think more freely. However, I am not a recluse and I understand the importance of human relationships. I value a variety of relationships and I am not a speaker for Western individualism.
I have traveled in the Middle East and experienced special hospitality. I have been invited to people’s homes and I have seen a glimpse of something beautiful. But I have also experienced this same real encounter in Finnish Lapland, where there is no rush when a tourist stops in the locality.
A person living in the middle of the sand has had to grow up in extreme conditions. In the same way, Arctic Lapland, due to its constantly changing environment, poses a challenging living environment for its inhabitants. The nature in both areas is rugged and yet so beautiful. The ingredients for the adventure are almost ready.
We offer accommodation in Rovaniemi and Karigasniemi. In addition to accommodation, we offer various guided tours both in Finland and in the Middle East. Nature, hiking, traditions, art and enduring values are close to our hearts. I speak Finnish, English and helpful Arabic. Swedish and Russian also fold.
