To make the trip enjoyable for everyone, a few practical things should be considered.
When you arrive at the apartment, we will open the door for you remotely. For more detailed check-in instructions, please book an apartment via the AirBnB or Booking.com system. Check-out is by 10:00 or by a separate agreement. Please make sure the door is locked when you leave.

Other equipment of the apartment
Vuodesohva. Sofa bed. The sofa bed in the living room easily converts into a bed (see video), for either one or two people.
Corner sofa. The living room also has a corner sofa suitable for sleeping. The back cushions can be removed and the pillow-top mattress used to make the bed.

Huom! Note! A linen fee is included for the whole group (one sheet and towels per guest). However, if you need more than one set of sheets / towels, please contact us for additional charges.
The bedroom has an extendable Ikea Brimnes bed, which works well as a double bed (twin bed, width ~160cm; if you are traveling alone we will make bed more narrow to suite one person 80cm).
Sauna and washing facilities
In addition to the shower, the washrooms have a small double sauna.
Turn on the heater immediately.
The heater switches off when the timer has turned back to the position 0. You can switch off the heater at any time by turning the knob to 0 manually.
Timed start. Turn the timer to the preselection range (scale B, 0 to 8 hours). The heater starts to heat up when the clock has turned the control back to the operating range. The on-time is then about four hours.
Changing the temperature. If the temperature rises uncomfortably high, turn the temperature control a little counterclockwise. If the temperature remains uncomfortably low, turn the temperature clockwise.
Clean tablecloths can be found in the bathroom sink.
Please note
The apartment is a non-smoking area and pets are not allowed. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am in accordance with the housing association's rules of procedure. Please take your shoes off when you enter.
Final cleaning
Leave the apartment in the condition it was when you got there. Clean the dishes you use. Empty the trash at the yard waste area. If necessary, you will find a vacuum cleaner and floor cleaners in the walk-in closet. Detergents can be found on the top of the toilet cabinet.
The toilet has its own cleaning equipment:
- red cloth for washing the toilet seat (found next to the toilet seat)
- blue cloth for wiping the sink and other surfaces (found in the basin cabinet on top of the pipe)
Driving instructions

Take a look at the map provided by Google and see the driving directions in a video coming from the direction of Kolpeneentie.
Please note that Google Maps is incorrectly directing you to your destination. You must drive to Kolpeneentie 67 via Matkajängäntie.
Written instructions: From the south, it is probably easiest to drive route four to north. In Keminmaa, at the Kallinkangas ramp, the road diverges in the direction of Rovaniemi, follow the signs for the E75 highway.
In Rovaniemi, after the underpass tunnel of the Revontuli / Rinteenkulma shopping center, follow the signs for Ounasvaara (the first ramp to the right after the tunnel). When you follow the signs to Ounasvaara or the hospital, you will reach Jätkänsilta bridge, which will be crossed.
At the end of the Jätkänsilta bridge, after the light intersection, prepare to turn left in the direction of Ounasrinne and the hospital.
After the turn, the nice hiking destination of Ounasvaara will be on the left (here you will find a shed and a bird tower!), but continue straight ahead and you will soon pass the hospital on the right and the convenience store K-market Ounasmetsä.
After about a kilometer, turn right onto Matkajängäntie, after which drive another kilometer before the last turn.
Turn right at the sign for the service home Aihki. Drive up to the turning point where the apartment building and address Kolpeneentie 67 A 27 are located.
Parking
There is parking at your disposal during your stay, if you need it, please contact us. The waste area is located near the parking lot, it is good to remember at this point

We hope to use the AirBnB or Booking.com messages as our primary communication channel. In a special situation, you can also reach us from the numbers below.
Arto acts as the main host and owner of the apartment. If you can't get in touch with him, it's possible that Arto is hiking and out of reach of cellular network. Then you can try to reach Heidi. Through her the matter will surely be handled quickly. Antti, on the other hand, acts as a local contact person.
